Kapu Finds a Home « Thread Started on Dec 30, 2006, 1:14pm »
Kapu wondered on and on. The snow falling on his light grey fur. His amber eyes saw nothing but snow and moss. But suddenly, Kapu saw a forest in the distance. Where there is a forest, there is bound to shelter! Thought Kapu.
Kapu ran and ran. It seemed like miles to him, but was just barely a single mile. He arrived to the forest only to see the tallest trees he'd ever seen. They towered over his tiny body. Kapu entered the forest for the very first time and was amazed at what he saw. A swamp! That looks like much fun! And a little den! It looks used, but hey, it still looks safe and sturdy. That will be my shelter. Said Kapu. He entered the den and happily shook the snow off of his shivering body. He claimed this land as his. Anyone who interfered, just might become lunch.

There where no one at the borders and Stranger agreed to herself that she move out and look for another pack to join. She wasn't bound to waste her time waiting at the borders again, not here. The femme paddedonward inland with boldness. Her posture was held with respect but a limp like lazy manner. She was tired and needed rest obviously, tired of waiting. She departed the other pack borders and went into this pack border.
Her stride was easy, and lean as she looked around. She caught scent of another male. A loner? Perhaps claiming? Doubtful. Stranger stopped in her tracks and sniffed, she spotted a male standing there solitary. She woofed out a greeting of freindly manner. She still stood away from him keeping her wise distance incase he were to strike for trespassing. But she wasnt going to waste another ounce of ehr time at the bordrs like she did at the other pack.

Kapu jumped up and ran to Stranger. His instincts caused him to be curious. He was just as alert as he was silent. 'You're trespassing. Do you wish to join? Or do you wish to be my dinner? I dislike trespassers?' Kapu knew he was being harsh, but he had experienced too much to just let everything slide.

Stranger looked to the brute and laughed a slight titter. She felt no threat toward him what so ever, she was however very confident, and it was seen within her bold hues. She looked him over to try and see why he was so on edge, when really Stranger was not possing a real threat to him. If she were threatening him at all, she would of began to attack him, and he might have a fair chance despite the death toll that hung within Stranger's jaws.
She offered him a soft smile.
to join of course, cant be solitary all your life ...
It was more of an offer to keep him company as well as herself, so it would work evenly out. She tilted her cranium.
You a cannible?
She offered a distasteful laugh, but yet an amused one, her hues read of humor as she took that as a joke. However she wasnt daft at all, she just had a morbid sense of humor. Morbid, dry, sarcastic sense of humor was all fun given her small bundle. Stranger grinned at him.
Im stranger but most just call me Ginger... and you are?
She tilted her cranium to the other side as she studied him carefully. A funny looking chap he was, or it might of been the remark she found funny , as she never could see this wolf eating another.. It ripped her a new side as she thought about laughing hard and long about it but she refrained from doing so.
